Our take
I've always been a fan of the Predator line, so when I found these 2008 Absolado TRX FG cleats in my size, I had to try them. Right out of the box, they feel like a blast from the past with that classic Predator look. The synthetic upper is stiff at first but molds decently after a few wears. The PowerSwerve element really does help with adding spin on crosses and free kicks. Traction on firm ground is solid, though the studs are a bit longer than modern cleats. The mid-cut design offers good ankle support, but the tongue could be more comfortable. At $120 for a vintage pair, you're paying for nostalgia more than performance. If you're a collector or sentimental, go for it. Otherwise, newer cleats offer better comfort and tech.
